Anthony Toop

Anthony Toop is best known for his work in real estate. He grew up in country South Australia, born in Orroroo into a family run business, Toop Motors. He was a boarder at Prince Alfred College in the 70s. Returning to work in the family, Anthony started work at Toop’s Electrical in Peterborough, SA at 17 and gained a builders license, which is still held today.

In 1978, by accident he fell into real estate at 19 years of age. After learning the ropes in north east established home sales, he moved to new home sales while studying as a mature age student at university. On the 8th May 1985 he commenced trading as Toop&Toop Real Estate with wife Sylvia. He never finished his valuation degree as Toop&Toop took over his full available time and passion.

The recognition as an innovative company started early with national recognition for excellence in Customer Service. Three decades of accolades including Telstra Small Business of the Year, and multiple SA Hall of Fame awards lead to endless national awards. Anthony is a life member of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia, Society of Auctioneers & Appraisers, a fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Australia and life member of Customer Service Institute of Australia.
